orange seastars

orange ochre stars on a rock

what came out of this. hand dyed ochre stars (the wool one is dyed by me with yellow onions, the linen dyed with fibre reactive dye) stitched on a repurposed denim rock, stuffed with alpaca fleece. lots of barnacles and seaweed for additional texture. i like to make these little scenes, and find they feel quite good in the hand. you can find it in the shop now.
